I think the book and the song are related in many ways. One main theme throughout the whole novel is that Huck and Jim are together or want to be together. They feel alone after only a short period of time they are separated. They "borrow" food, or whatever they need. In some parts of the novel, they are chased and they leave places, whenever it gets too dangerous there. Later in the novel, when they meet Tom, they 'play' what Tom read in adventure books. |
