Two frauds and a child escaped

It was the day after Mr. Peter Wilks died, when two men and a child arrived at the Wilks's house. The two said they were Peter's brothers and they were very welcome.
They had a very good knowledge about Peter's friends and when they had the $3000 Peter wanted his brothers to have, they gave it to Peter's nieces Mary Jane, Susan and Joanna. The three, only 14 to 19 years old, didn't know what to do with all that money, so they gave it back to them plus the $3000 for themselves to invest it in something.
Two days later, the day after Peter Wilks funeral, they said they had to go back to Sheffield, England, and Peter's three nieces wanted to go with them. So they sold the house, the niggers and everything else.
The same day, Peter Wilks's real two brothers arrived, without baggage. One of them had a broken arm. The people didn't know who was the real brothers,

so they tried to find it out by letting them tell all about their lives. The $6000 could not be found and all, even the two frauds, didn't know where it was. When they didn't know which 'brother' was right about the tattoo on Peter Wilks's breast, they decided to go to the graveyard to dig him out and see who was right.
It was dark and rainy outside and once in a while there was a lightning. The whole town followed them and when they arrived at the gaveyard, they realized that they didn't take enought candles.
When they finally opened the coffin, the lightninglight showed the missing $6000 in gold.
When everybody was surprised to see the money, the two frauds and their servant escaped. Everybody was very sorry for Peter Wilks's real brother and handed them the $6000.
The search for the frauds kept unsuccessful.
